Is Islam a religion of peace?
The Quran is very clear about fighting against the people who do not accept the religion of Islam and its messenger.
However, many people practice this religion yet they are very peaceful individual people. This characteristic is of the individual not the religion.
In addition, the same goes for people who practice other religion such as Christianity. They may be some who fight or revenge when someone does not treat them the way they should, even though Christianity does not teach them that kind of behavior.
Religion of Christianity teaches peace and love, even loving the enemy. However, Islam teaches fight and or punishment by forcing others of other faith to pay tribute, bring humiliation to them. Sura 9:29 and Sura 2:193-194


Is the Bible the inspired word of God or is the Quran?
Sura 2:106 says: If we supersede any verse or cause it to be forgotten, we bring a better one or one similar. Do you not know that god has power over all things!
In other words, God may change his mind and bring something else to replace the earlier revelation!

God does not change in the bible:
James 1:17 every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no varying, neither shadow of turning.
2 Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

My thoughts:
Words of God in the Bible are living words.
Our circumstances and situation changes as we grow older, as a result the application from the word of God also changes, and that's makes it a living word of God.
God's word is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, it never changes.

It is not the same in Quran, according to Islam their revelation has been given over the span of 23+ or - years. And as a result when the situation changed so did the revelation as we have pointed to the above Sura. Therefore God of the Quran could not have been all knowing God! Since they kept changing the word of God, so Quran is inspired word of Muhammad not God.
